We are recruiting for a fantastic PRIMARY SCHOOL HOMEROOM TEACHER (native English language skills required) - who wants to be part of the revolution in primary education .

Based in Mokotów, Warsaw, this role is for an experienced and dedicated teacher who naturally aligns with our values: someone who can learn to blend playful rigour, cross curricular-enquiry based learning, and metacognitive thinking skills into their classroom everyday….and build unshakeable relationships with their students.
As an Atelier 21 you will opportunities to co-create our curriculum and join our mentor teams to work with our partner school – Atelier 21 Future School in the UK.
About the role:

Be responsible for up to 20 learners, supported by a Teaching Partner (assistant).

Plan and facilitate lessons in Literacy and Maths—explicit, focused lessons linked to real‑world meaning and inquiry.

Lead Big Studies: Project based learning integrating Humanities, Science etc., grounded in learners’ interests and questions.

Design provocations that stimulate curiosity and hands-on learning.

Guide and enable self‑directed learning and independent projects.

Plan outdoor and nature‑based outings (Forest School, Beach School, etc.) including Wild Fridays.

Differentiate instruction for individual needs.

Monitor academic progression and learning dispositions.
-
Honouring the environment as the third teacher which creates a culture of joy, enquiry, creativity, and friendship.

Facilitate semi‑democratic practices through class and school meetings.

Communicate with parents in a transparent and professional manner.
Person Specification:
-
A min. B.A. degree in Education or other degree plus TOEFL/TESOL
-
Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in a primary school setting
