Your tasks
- Responsible for external and internal customers
- Credit reports, customer self-disclosures, balance sheet data, in-house data, as well as reporting & preparation of statistics and trade reports
- Credit assessment of customers based on the above-mentioned information
- Needs-based determination and allocation of credit limits and payment terms; regular review of credit limits and, if necessary, adjustments as well as the compilation of information as a basis for decisions on higher credit limits by our headquarters in Brussels
- Safeguarding liquidity through early repayment and daily release of blocked orders due to limit and payment term overruns
- Cooperation with trade credit insurance and debt collection services
- Processing of insolvent customers; monitoring of overdue receivables; processing of dunning procedures
- Central information point about customer changes to other departments
- Monthly financial closing
- KPI reporting and review
- Interface to the Shared Service Centre (BEBS) for payment postings and master data creation
- Preparation of audit-relevant information and performance of audits for the Credit department
What we expect
- 6-8 years of professional experience in the field
- extensive experience in dealing with customers
- experience in balance sheet analysis/credit assessment
- Fluency in English (B2/C1)
- good IT skills in the areas of MS Office, SAP
- strong communication skills
