For a global biopharmaceutical organization , we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager/ Senior Project Manager to lead strategic, large‑scale HR and Payroll transformation initiatives in a highly regulated pharma environment.
This is a long‑term project engagement , starting in March 2026 and planned through the end of 2026 , delivered on a B2B basis via ManpowerGroup Solutions . The role is fully remote and requires close collaboration with global stakeholders across the US or APAC regions.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in project management , hands‑on experience with payroll transformations , and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed, global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, global HR and Payroll transformation programs within a biopharma/ life sciences environment
- Own end‑to‑end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality
- Act as a key partner to senior business, HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders , with strong exposure to US and APAC regions
- Lead SteerCo meetings and provide concise, executive‑level status reporting
- Proactively manage delivery risks related to regulatory compliance, audits, internal controls, and data integrity
- Ensure organizational readiness for change through effective change management, communication, and adoption activities
- Drive payroll transformation initiatives such as:
– Payroll and HR system implementations
– Process redesign aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
– Data migration and third‑party vendor coordination
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience , including leadership of global, cross‑functional transformation initiatives
- Proven track record in payroll transformation projects (global or regional), preferably within a regulated industry
- Strong understanding of HR domains such as payroll, benefits, time & attendance
- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders in the US or APAC , including managing time zone, cultural, and regulatory complexity
- Nice to have: Prior experience in pharma, life sciences, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.

Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – strongly preferred
- Experience supporting projects subject to audits and regulatory scrutiny is a plus
