We are hiring on behalf of a global organisation in the technology sector that is expanding its shared services center in Warsaw. The finance team supports accounting processes across multiple countries and is currently undergoing system upgrades and automation projects, creating a dynamic and evolving work environment.Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and execute Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Prepare and review month-end closing entries for accuracy and compliance.
- Handle complex bank transactions and special ledger postings.
- Prepare notes for financial statements in line with disclosure requirements.
- Review and approve master data maintenance in ERP systems.
- Provide guidance to operational teams on accounting policies.
- Participate in process improvement and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in general ledger accounting and R2R processes within an international environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and reporting tools.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Experience in financial statement preparation or group reporting.
