- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for regional categories within Europe, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Identify and engage with potential suppliers to secure the best value and quality for procurement needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective sourcing plans
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively address potential disruptions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation and reporting for transparency and audit purposes
- Support sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives across regional categories
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build effective supplier relationships
- Excellent analytical abilities to assess market data and supplier performance
- Knowledge of procurement tools and software, with proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent are desirable
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions and organizational priorities
